Parsa Motahar is a sophomore at the UH Honors College. He is majoring in Nutrition with a minor in Chemistry. He plans to attend graduate school after obtaining his bachelor's degree. He enjoys being a Cougar Tutor because he believes it enhances students’ attitudes towards school. Outside of the organization, he enjoys skating, reading, and coding.

Responsibilities
Design Fellows will create written/digital content that presents community perspectives in an unbiased way and proposes actionable solutions to city leaders. To create content, Design Fellows will interpret insights produced by Data Fellows as well as study community and policy context. The design team will meet with TCIC leadership and Data Fellows to ensure their findings are well-rooted.

Strong verbal/written communication skills

Report writing or academic research experience is a plus

Experience creating digital content (We are planning to launch a YouTube page)

YouTube, TikTok, Adobe Premiere, short videos, etc.​

Understanding of City Planning/Urban Development studies are a plus

Time Commitment
Data/Design Fellows are expected to devote 3-5 hrs/week
